Brown CareerLAB logo

My first challenge upon starting my new role at the Brown University CareerLAB (Center for Life After Brown) was to take the visual identity created by University Communications and translate it into a cohesive, functional system that could work across the career center’s existing collateral. This meant finding ways to incorporate the new identity while maintaining consistency, clarity, and flexibility across a wide range of print and digital materials.

The task: unite a series of distinct brands under a cohesive parent identity, each with very different target markets, through sophisticated, flawless design. The goal was to create a seamless brand experience that begins with the product’s packaging and carries consistently through every aspect of the marketing.

I designed a complete visual identity and promotional materials for a small country store. My work included creating the store’s logo and developing a cohesive look that carried across a variety of printed materials. I designed mailers, gift certificates, newspaper advertisements, tags, and other in-store promotional pieces to help the store establish a recognizable and inviting brand.

Designing invitations is a special creative outlet for me. I love the opportunity to establish the visual theme and tone for an entire event, creating an invitation that gives guests their first glimpse into the experience to come.
